A company in Douala, Cameroon is looking for a social media manager who can create content, Strategies, reply to customers and manage their social media accounts.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, creative and passionate Social Media Manager to join our forward looking team. As our Social Media Manager you will be charged with the responsibility to develop our

social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You will develop and implement social media strategy that will improve our marketing and sales efforts online. You will work closely with our

sales team and technology teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and manage our social media strategy for all our social media platforms.

• Create appealing and informative graphics and develop content for our social media handles.

• Create, manage and measure social media campaigns with key performances indicators clearly stated when launching the campaigns.

• Manage and monitor our social media content and pages to ensure we follow regulations.

• Interact with customers via social handles and respond to all messages received through our social media handles and Company website.

• Stay up to date with the most recent social media best practices and technologies.

• Attend social media educational conferences and company seminars.

• Collaborate with Marketing, technology team, and sales teams.

• Present bi-weekly reports and constructive feedback to senior management.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a social media specialized or associative role.

• Have successfully created and ran at least six social media campaigns.

• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with active accounts on at least 2 of the above mentioned social media platforms.

• Have some experience in design with a mastery of any tool used in creating visual content.

• Experience with doing market and buyer persona research.

• Great leadership skills

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Good Team Player

• Great interpersonal, communication and marketing skills

• Bonuses but Not Required

• Bilingual ( Speaks both English and French)

• Bachelors degree in Marketing or any related field.

• Knowledge of SEO and other digital skills

• Knowledge of traveling and tourism industry

Payment

The pay rate is very competitive with multiple bonuses that comes along it.
